The Bracelet of Gold〘2〙
Theo hummed a cheerful tune as he left the house, but his hopes of catching up to Julius and Fernan quickly faded as he neared the busy streets. The town, nestled near the castle, was far grander than any place Theo had visited before. Even though no festival was being held, the streets were crowded with people, making it nearly impossible to move without brushing past someone. Finding Fernan in this throng, with his tall and broad figure, seemed unlikely.
(Ah, there it is again... that whistling...)
Reaching the town square, where fountains sparkled under the sun, Theo once again heard the sound of someone whistling at him. It wasn't the first time today. Whenever he turned, he would meet the gaze of men, all of whom seemed intrigued by the bracelet on his ankle. Some even approached him, asking, "How much for it?"
Theo, not wanting to part with the bracelet, would politely decline with a hurried, "I'm sorry, it's not for sale," before darting away. Still, he couldn't help but notice how many eyes were drawn to it. For a moment, he even wondered if the bracelet had some kind of magic within it. After all, Julius had met Fernan while wearing this very bracelet, only to ask him to remove it later. Perhaps it was a charm, a talisman that drew one's true love, and once that love was found, the bracelet had to be taken off.
(It must be so... My brother was probably planning to give it to me once I was old enough, when the time came for me to find my own beloved... Though, isn't a beloved usually a girl?)
Theo sat by the edge of the fountain, feeling the weight of the many gazes upon him. He absentmindedly kicked his feet, letting the bracelet catch the sunlight as he pondered.
Indeed, typically one's beloved would be a girl... Yet, watching the happiness shared between his brother and Fernan, Theo had long since accepted that it was perfectly fine for a man to be one's true love too.
"Julius, hey, Julius, is that you?"
Startled, Theo felt a strong hand grasp his shoulder, and his eyes flew open in surprise. Standing beside him was a man with fiery red hair, tall and powerful like Fernan.
"You haven't changed a bit since the days you lived in that village," the man said, his voice hearty with familiarity. "It's been, what, six or seven years? You seem even younger now. Still in the game?"
"My name is Theo. Julius is my elder brother," Theo corrected, blinking up at the stranger.
"What? Oh—oh, that's right! He had a younger brother, didn't he? You two are like two peas in a pod."
The man's words made Theo's heart swell with pride, and he rose to his feet as the man continued speaking. Before he realized what was happening, the red-haired stranger had thrown an arm around his shoulders, steering him down a quieter street. "How nostalgic," the man said with a grin. "I remember your brother took good care of me."
Though Julius had warned Theo never to follow strangers, this felt quite different. After all, if this man was an old acquaintance of his brother, and from their same village no less, surely there was no harm. But more than anything, Theo was thrilled by the compliment that he looked just like his beautiful older brother.
***
The winding streets of the town near the castle were crowded, even the hidden alleyways. But soon, Theo found himself alone with the red-haired man on the edge of a forest clearing. They had walked quite a long way, and at one point, Theo had asked where they were headed. But the man's stories of old times and warm smiles had distracted him, and only now did Theo realize they were far from the busy streets of the town.
He didn't feel afraid, not exactly. But as the merry sounds of flutes and voices drifted faintly from the town, he felt a tug in his heart, wanting to return to where the festivities continued.
"Well, we've come far enough... Now then, how much do you cost? Your brother didn't charge much, but since we're in another town now, it must be a bit pricier, eh? Maybe you can give me a discount, as an old friend…"
"My brother didn't charge much? Is this about work?" Theo asked, tilting his head in confusion.
"Oh, he worked, alright. Even if I only had a crust of bread, your brother would suck me off. There wasn't much food back then, and you and your parents were nothing but deadweight. He did everything he could to make ends meet. Handsome as he was, fit and cheap. And he sure knew how to suck."
"Suck... suck what?" Theo asked, still innocent of the meaning, though the man's arm now rested heavily on his shoulders, holding him in place.
Theo tried to make sense of it on his own but found himself at a loss. He thought back to their days in the northern village—Julius would often go out to work, though he never spoke of what he did. Theo had always waited eagerly for the bread and meat his brother brought home, simply happy that he returned at all. The word "work" had been enough back then, and Theo had never thought to ask more.
"What's with the act, huh? Playing innocent? Sorry, but I prefer the kind of sensuality Julius had. So quit pretending and let's get on with it."
The man loosened the belt of his trousers, and as they slid down along with his undergarments, Theo's eyes widened in shock. There, gleaming in the sunlight filtering through the trees, was the man's member, proud and swollen, pointing to the sky without a hint of modesty.
"Wha—what are you doing?" Theo stammered.
"I told you, stop acting like you don't know. This is getting boring, and I might lose it if you keep it up. Julius licked it so well, took it deep down his throat. His ass was fantastic, too. Your brother must've taught you all this, didn't he? Along with that bracelet…"
Theo, who had been utterly clueless at first, began to understand. Slowly, the pieces fell into place. He knew that when he touched his own body in a certain way, it brought a pleasant sensation, making things harden. He had always assumed it was something improper, something to avoid, so he had never played with it much. But now, as the man's words echoed in his ears, everything began to make sense. Julius must have been doing the same thing with the men of the village, bringing them pleasure. That was how he had earned food for their family.
"My brother…"
"He was a slut, a cheap one at that."
"N-no, stop... don't come closer!"
Theo found himself backed against a large tree, the man's strong grip pinning him. There was no room to escape, and the size difference between them was too great for Theo's resistance to be effective.
"Hey, don't tell me we came all this way for nothing! That anklet proves you're a whore!"
The man pressed closer, his exposed member just inches away, and with a menacing grin, he whispered into Theo's ear, "Suck it."
The friendly smiles he'd worn in town were gone, replaced by a menacing leer. He pressed on, glaring and reeking a fishy smell, all friendliness now a distant memory.
"No! I'm not for sale! I just wore my brother's anklet!" Theo cried.
"Ha, so it really is your first time, huh? All the better. I'll train you from scratch. Look, it's the same as yours. And for men, you should do it like this..."
"No-o-o!"
The man's hand ran over Theo's genitals over his trousers, and with a startled gasp, the boy fell to his knees beneath the towering tree. His body trembled as the man stroked him through his clothes, and despite his desperate attempts to resist, his limbs refused to move, paralyzed by fear. His belt had already been loosened.
"N-no... stop..."
The man's hand slipped into Theo's undergarments, fingers reaching for his body. When Theo realized what was about to happen, the man already went to grab his genitals and began to caress them persistently.
"Don't touch... No!.."
"Such a pretty face, but you're still a boy down there... You'll enjoy this soon enough. After all, clients don't usually do this to the whore they pay, consider this a special lesson."
Clinging desperately to the roots of the tree, Theo crawled along the ground, trying to pull himself free, but as soon as he moved, his trousers slipped further, exposing him to the man's greedy touch. His thighs were seized, and then—without warning—the tender flesh of his buttocks was grabbed and spread apart.
"No! I don't want this! Stop!"
"This is the most important place for someone like you. Listen well, you need to use your spit like this... and then relax your body so you can take a man's full length."
"Aaah! No!"
A sharp scream tore from Theo's throat when he realized the man had inserted his fingers into the most private part of his body. Again and again, despite his protests, the man's finger slid within him. And more than once, although he strained his vocal chords, his voice refused to come out. He was so scared that the screams stuck in his throat.
- No... I don't want to...
A single dampened finger inserted inside didn't actually feel so painful. On the other hand, the shock was so great, it felt as though a stake had been driven through his heart. And yet, as the man moved his fingers, a strange sensation began to build within Theo, his thighs trembling against his will.
To Theo's dismay, he felt his own body responding, betraying him.
"You see? You're not hating this as much as you say. The younger brother of a whore should be a whore too, after all. Julius pretended not to like it either, but deep down, he enjoyed it."
"Ghh..."
Theo burned with rage at the man's mocking words. His brother couldn't have enjoyed such things. The thought of how much Julius must have endured just to feed him—the guilt, the shame—it tore at Theo's heart. He had to fight back. He had to escape. He had to return to Julius...
And then, an idea flashed in Theo's mind. He was fast—faster than anyone in his village. He could climb trees better than any of the other boys. It was time to trust in his own strength.
With all the force he could muster, Theo lifted the leg adorned with the bracelet, aiming the metal band directly at the man's temple. And with all his might, he struck.
"Grahhh!"
The pain shot through his leg, but Theo forced himself to stand, tugging his fallen trousers back into place. Then, without looking back, he bolted into the forest, running as fast as his legs would carry him.
